redIQ Deal Highlight: GVA Real Estate Acquires Timberlake Village

redIQ would like to congratulate the team at Texas-based GVA Real Estate for finalizing the acquisition of Timberlake Village in Antioch, Tennessee, a neighborhood of Nashville. The property, built in 1986, was purchased from The Michelson Organization in a deal brokered by CBRE. GVA received financing from Walker & Dunlop.

During the pandemic, Nashville has become a popular destination for office workers and others departing expensive markets like New York City and San Francisco. The city has also recently attracted major employers. Tech giant Amazon has a substantial and expanding presence in the city, and asset manager AllianceBernstein began relocating its headquarters to Nashville from Manhattan in 2018. Timberlake Village was GVA’s most recent multifamily acquisition in the Nashville area. The company purchased several other properties toward the end of last year.
